About Me
Louise’s purpose is to support people to know and use the strengths and skills they have to thrive in their life and work. She is very passionate about helping people reach their potential.
Louise is both a Coach and a Counsellor and these skills together allow her to look at the whole person and how she can support their development.
Louise is a practical and experienced Leadership Coach that has helped hundreds of people become confident and successful in their roles at work and in their career. Having the additional skills of being a Counsellor, Louise can really see her client, their motivations, beliefs and values and work with any issue that is important to the client.
As a Leadership Coach, she develops individuals in the aspects of leadership that are important for their current and future roles as a leader. She is experienced with new leaders, all the way through to Executives. She has worked with hundreds of leaders in Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the UK in large and smaller companies in public and private sectors.
In addition to Leadership Coaching, often Louise’s coaching veers into Career coaching and supporting people looking at promotions, looking for a new career or preparing for selection processes. Along with other clients, Louise has spent over five years helping transition Defence Force members from their roles into the civilian workforce; which has seen me coach many service men and women to find rewarding roles at all levels.
As a qualified Counsellor, Louise supports individuals with life challenges in a holistic way. Again, she is a practical counsellor that provides care and compassion, along with evidence-based approaches to support her clients in their needs. Louise has had experience with mental health, particularly anxiety, managing stress and wellbeing, self belief, life balance, family systems, health and addiction.
Before becoming a Coach and Counsellor, Louise had 16 years of corporate experience working in senior roles across financial institutions, IT companies and not-for-profit organisations. She has practised as a country manager, a sales leader, a product leader, an executive manager, a project manager, a coach, a mentor and a customer expert. She really enjoy leading teams and often found herself as the person that colleagues sought for guidance and personal support in the workplace.
Louise loves Coaching and Counselling and has found people recognise her ability to connect with them quickly by asking insightful questions, really listening to them and being very interested the person that they are. This creates the opportunity for Louise and her clients’ to build trust and have great Coaching and Counselling conversations and also have some fun when working together.
